The Frankfurt am Main Museum of Modern Art (MMK) will establish a permanent branch in the Schauhallen, exhibiting a selection from its first-class exhibitions at the main museum.

Alternating Guest Museums
Prestigious museums from all over the world will be invited to present their collections in the Schauhallen for six months at a time. This caters not only to the growing visitor demand for more contemporary art, but also to international museums who want to show their collections temporarily in the capital city of Berlin.
Contemporary art will thus be placed in an exciting dialogue which reflects upon the important questions of art production. The lively art creativity in Berlin will find here a showcase for proper reflection n and the careful presentation of young internatioinal art.
