For the opening of the Schauhallen Berlin the Goetz Collection has been invited to present a comprehensive exhibition with works from all areas and epochs represented in the Collection.

This will give the Goetz Collection the opportunity to present for the first time a major part of the works in the collection in one exhibition. The exhibition, which will curated by the art collector Ingvild Goetz, is the result of an initiative of the Schauhallen. It will be a collaborative project of both institutions.

For the opening of the exhibition the Goetz Collection is planning the publication of a comprehensive catalogue, which will give a current overview of the Collection’s holdings.

Collection Goetz 

The Goetz Collection is an internationally renowned, private collection of contemporary art in Munich. The Collection's activities embrace the entire diversity of today's artistic forms of expression in all media. Apart from drawings, graphics, paintings, and photography, the focus is on video and film work, room-sized installations and multi-channel projections.
