The second main component of Schauhallen will comprise exquisite private art collections which will subjectively reflect and complement the works from the museums. The list of artists displaying their works at Schauhallen will offer a representational survey of the most important trends in contemporary international art. A Place for storage and growth – The Schauhallen Depot Part of Schauhallen will be a large depot, offering optimal spatial and climatic conditions for the storage of works of art over 7,000 square metres. 700 square metres of space, comprising nine separate rooms, each with its own secure access will be created. The combination of exhibition and storage space will enable collectors to work actively with their stock and enlarge their collections with recent acquisitions. |
